Job Description:
Spanish Teacher at an Ofsted 'Good' School located in Oxford, Oxfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent position on the Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale with professional development, ECT support, and a Cycle to Work Scheme.

We are currently seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join our team and contribute to our vibrant and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages department. The role is available from January, and we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Spanish for the right candidate.
2. Develop and implement curriculum materials that align with national standards and encourage a deep understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
3. Regularly assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support their learning and academic development.
4. Use assessment data to adapt your teaching and support students who may need additional assistance.
5. Actively participate in MFL department meetings, contributing ideas and resources to enhance the overall language learning experience.
6. Contribute to school life through extracurricular activities and other initiatives to support students’ language learning outside the classroom.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Proven experience teaching Spanish in secondary schools.
3. Strong knowledge of the Spanish language curriculum.
4. A Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, or a related field (desirable).
5. A passion for teaching and an ability to inspire students to love learning a foreign language.
