Salary:
£54,793 – £60,326 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for:
Collation, validation and management of the business, functional, non-functional and technical requirements for the creation of a new GCAP Joint Venture and the wider GCAP enterprise
Collaborating with business stakeholders, technical product owners, business analysts and end-users to ensure that the requirements being captured are comprehensive and signed off by the relevant owners.
Ensuring quality and standardisation of requirements, using industry best practices, and ensuring all stakeholders have access to the requirements for review and sign off
Acting as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring that business strategy and requirements are comprehensively reflected in the functional and non-functional requirements being used for implementation of solutions
Defining metrics for tracking the quality and completeness of requirements and updating senior management on performance against these metrics
Facilitating workshops and meetings to support the Business Analyst team manage changing requirements throughout the project lifecycle and across the various digital product teams
Working closely with the project teams, especially business analysts and testers, to ensure the traceability from business requirements to UAT scripts for the solutions being implemented
Creating and leading the implementation of a requirements management process and its supporting requirements management plan
Owning and maintaining requirements capture templates throughout the project lifecycle
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Degree in a technical subject or certified Business Analysis qualification
Demonstrable experience of working for large organisations as a Senior Business Analyst, Senior Systems Analyst or in another IT role which has required significant levels of analysis and documentation of requirements.
Proficient in writing clear and concise user stories, requirements, and other technical documentation
Ability to manage multiple sources of information simultaneously and summarise it effectively
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex and international environment
Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse set of international stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, including senior management.
Desirable:
Good understanding of the project delivery lifecycle, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience using Atlassian toolsets for requirements management

The Digital Business team:
The Digital Business team is made up of Business Analysts, Architects and Project Managers from the UK, Italy and Japan, covering all aspects of requirements, design and solution implementation. The team spans the UK, Italy and Japan, across all roles, and is responsible for the joint creation of a unique tri-lateral business. In the UK specifically, we are a team of seven Business Analysts, two Architects and a Delivery lead, based across the country
