We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Manager within hospitality to join a prestigious restaurant group with a strong UK presence and a head office in Leeds City Centre.\n\nAs General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of the flagship restaurant while upholding our strong reputation and values. You will be responsible for overseeing business performance, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role combines strategic planning and day-to-day management, incorporating both business and creative aspects, particularly in marketing and business development.\n\nWe are looking for a leader, who enjoys collaboration and supporting their team, driving success.

A fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to grow their career. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage stocks, P&Ls, and wage control.\nFoster a great work environment, embracing the organisation's culture, especially within a multicultural setting.\nCollaborate with Sales and Marketing Managers to implement marketing strategies and increase sales.\nCommit to organisational values and motivate continuous performance improvement.\nLead the restaurant team to meet company standards and expectations.\nProvide guidance, mentoring, coaching, and training to the team.\nCommunicate effectively with all managers, kitchen, and front-of-house team members.\nDemonstrate strong written and oral communication skills for managing business administration and personnel matters.\nStay calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively.\nDisplay good business awareness to achieve successful performance.\nDemonstrate strong planning and organisational skills for a streamlined operation.\nMake confident decisions and solve problems as they arise.\nWork closely with the Director to achieve targets and address any concerns.Skills & Experience:\n\nHighly professional and experienced General Manager within a premium hospitality business, ideally a restaurant.\nSelf-starter with strong initiative.\nEmbody the company's values.\nHigh work ethic and tempo - proactive and keeps the team focused.\nNatural leader with respect and gravitas.\nExcellent communicator and team motivator.\nImpeccable attention to detail while inspiring your team to do the same.\nAvailable to work prime time shifts, including Fridays and Saturdays.\nPassionate about people, culture, and cuisine.\nExperience managing a diverse workforce.\nProven track record in enhancing customer service.\nComfortable managing labour and handling customer issues directly.\nCalm under pressure and committed to excellence.\nAmbitious and dedicated to becoming the top restaurant in Leeds.lease note, due to the number of responses we receive we are unfortunately unable to give feedback to all individuals.
