Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience

This is a newly created opportunity for an ambitious and creative bid writer to help drive further growth by bringing their expertise to this leading healthcare technology service solutions provider. Through a network of 32 sites across the UK and with over 1800 people, the organisation supplies and delivers healthcare solutions to promote independent living. The business is an ambitious and innovative organisation continually striving to deliver market leading customer service to the end user and to their local authority and NHS clients.
About the role
As the Bid Writer for Medequip Connect, you will be instrumental in working as part of the business development team. You will be accountable for solution architecting and writing compelling, differentiating, and successful bids, whilst also supporting wider business development functions such as marketing as required.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Identifying bid winning strategies and themes.
* Developing best in class and compelling bid submissions.
* Finalising bids with meticulous proofing.

Qualifications and experience required:
* At least four years solution architecting and bid writing experience; highly analytical and detailed.
* Business to Government (Central or Local) experience is a pre-requisite. It is not necessary to have a healthcare services background.
* Self-motivated with aspirations to develop his/her career.
* A winning track record and mentality; a drive for continuous improvement of bid process, content, and output.
* Inquisitive and highly creative; have a passion for convincing/compelling stories.
* Exceptional project management and interpersonal/written communication skills.
* High level of MS Office expertise.
* Preferably a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline.
