As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Operations Team in London Heathrow as a Cargo Operations Supervisor. The role includes:
1. Facilitating smooth cargo operations at the station through coordination with the Ground Handling Agents and staff within the station.
2. Monitoring and ensuring adherence to regulations outlined by local authorities and compliance with IATA regulations for safe, secure and effective movement of inbound and outbound cargo.
3. Managing and leading operations staff on duty, contributing to the highest levels of service standards and reduce operations costs.
4. Maintaining freighter on time performance to avoid delays caused by ground operations at the station, investigate and report any delays to regional operations and the Head Office.
5. Ensure local station operational support functions are working smoothly, including trucking, ULD handling, use of consumables etc.

Qualifications
About you
• Minimum of High School Qualification with at least 4 years of job related experience preferably within operational airline function or air freight industry
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred as well as the ability to delegate, set clear directions, motivate staff and foster teamwork.
• Good knowledge of warehouse and ramp handling, Dangerous Goods Regulations, Live Animal Regulations, IATA and perishable cargo handling.
• Load control and previous experience with loading of freighter aircraft.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this position.
