Marketing and Customer Experience Director

Marketing are the driving force behind that growth, and as such we are developing and expanding the team to better acquire new customers and deliver ever better value to, and from, our existing customer base.
Purpose
The CRM Executive is a new role that’s been created to focus on building better customer journeys and experiences through the sales funnel, from building awareness of what The Barcode Warehouse is able to offer customers, to generating sales opportunities, and through to in-life communications that drive improved revenue and retention rates.
They will be working with the wider Marketing team and other internal stakeholders including Sales, Product and Innovation, and Service Operations teams to develop highly targeted campaigns that engage, convert and retain customers.
Core Responsibilities
1. Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to develop new customer journeys and enhance existing ones to ensure we’re delivering a great customer experience and optimising conversions
2. Analysing campaign performance and feeding learnings into a continuous improvement plan
3. Supporting the wider Marketing team (Product Marketing, CRM, Digital, Content and Web teams) to devise, develop, and deliver marketing campaigns, taking responsibility for email communications
4. Owning and managing the customer contact strategy, ensuring we’re optimising conversions
5. Managing our customer data, delivering quality improvements and ensuring alignment with GDPR
6. Conducting customer analysis to inform the segmentation strategy
7. Overall high proficiency in using CRM software (preferably HubSpot)
8. Experience creating workflows and sequences in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM)
9. Experience building emails and campaign landing pages in a CRM
10. Experience in creating or executing a customer segmentation strategy
11. Track record of delivering revenue generating campaigns in a B2B environment (preferably services and solutions focused)
12. Stakeholder management, in particular working directly with sales leaders
13. Experience of using CMS
14. Experience in the creation and copy writing of email marketing campaigns
15. Experience managing the customer database quality and delivering initiatives to continuously improve it
16. Knowledge and application of best practice lead generation approaches
17. Practical knowledge of Google Analytics
18. Experience of working with creative agencies and other suppliers
19. Experience working in a technology market
20. Experience in providing detailed ROI reporting
