About the Role We are recruiting individuals to join our established and growing business which has a reputation for collaboration, innovation, and investment in its workforce. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of stock from our Regional Distribution Centre in Edinburgh. You will follow pre-set routes throughout the week to deliver to stocking locations. This role requires moving and handling of items around 25kg so you will need to be physically fit for this role. A flexible approach and attention to detail is needed. We will allow you take the vehicle home, you can use the vehicle to get too and from work only, personal use of the vehicle is not allowed. Applicants must be aged 25 years minimum for vehicle insurance purposes. Key Responsibilities: Ensure daily vehicle maintenance checks are carried out Scan tote boxes in and out of delivery locations. Verify the quantity of received items. Perform minor warehouse housekeeping duties in the Regional Distribution Centre and the forward stocking locations. Clean driving licence preferred (maximum of 6 points). Highly organised with attention to detail. Ability to work in store environments requiring manual handling. Proven track record of safely and legally driving 3.5t vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. Ability to adhere to Service Level Agreements. Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate using maps while gaining local knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with customers. Problem-solving skills for addressing customer issues at the point of delivery.
