Job Title: Technical Services Lead (MEP focus)
Location: Rochester, Kent (with on-site visits)
Reporting to: Senior PM Team
Job Role & Responsibilities:
* Undertake mobilisation site reviews and validations.
* Assist with design reviews premobilisation, including:
o Design Q&A Sessions alongside the Senior PM Team.
o Preparation of drawings with subcontractors for balancing/flushing requirements (premobilisation).
o Assist with design reviews on site, including:
+ On-site design/installation monitoring.
+ As built mark up whenever visiting site.
* Review labour on site and provide feedback to the Senior Team.
* Collaborate with on-site labour to ensure a positive working environment and morale for all, acting as the eyes and ears for the Senior Team.
* Review the project programme weekly and ensure a two-week look ahead is reviewed on every bi-weekly visit.
* Prepare the project progress snapshot to be issued to the Senior PM Team monthly, including:
o Up to date drawing register.
o Up to date as-built mark-up including highlighted progress completion (green).
o Accompanying photographic evidence of work progress.
o H&S Audit (2 from the previous month) issued as separate documents with the progress snapshot.
o Monthly % tracking document (Site Progress Percentage Document - SPPD).
o Final issue of as-built mark ups to Senior Team.
o Final issue of all testing certification to Senior Team.
o Site handovers/customer witnessing.
o Undertake and manage onsite client handover training.
Skills Required:
* Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
* Excellent knowledge of British Standards and both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
* Self-starter with excellent communication skills at all levels (from Site Level to Senior Management).
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the relevant field of operation.
* Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports.
* Experience in a similar position.
* Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.
* Full UK driver's license.
