We are recruiting a General Factory Hand to start immediately in Lancing. A General Hand is required to assist the Spray Painters and the shop floor supervisor in the spray shop. Weekly payStart now on £12.21 Holiday accrued 42.5 hrs per week- 8am to 5pm -Mon-Thurs 6am to 3pm on a Friday You will be assisting the team in the hanging of metal components onto hooks on the conveyor belt- before and after process of Powder Coating/Paint Spraying. Please be flexible in your duties. Your position is to assist, be observant and learn new things. The role could involve some lifting, loading or machine minding and it is important that the person is physically fit. You will be moving metal stocks from Pallets out side of the factory and distributing to your work colleagues- this will involve some pace The role could involve lifting, cutting, loading or minding and it is important that the person is physically fit. Keeping the factory clean and tidy and free from Obstruction. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial as would machine operation and metal working experience but not essential. Safety shoes need to be worn at all times Please ensure you take the breaks allocated to you and return back to work on time. Your mobile phone will need to be switched off during working hours. Smoking only allowed in designated area. Any holiday requirements must be agreed with the client and reported directly to your agency contact.
