The Technical Author produces and maintains technical documentation for all of our products as well publishing documentation to print and online platforms.The technical documentation includes operation manuals, repair and maintenance instructions, assembly instructions, setup guides, technical bulletins and service bulletins.
You’ll need to have previous experience of working in an automotive environment or you’ll have a similar repair and maintenance background, as well as previous technical authoring experience in a automotive enviroment or similar. Previous expereince with component management systems (CCMS) would be an advantage to your application.
To succeed in this role you will be highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively. You’ll have strong communication skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and to a high standard.
For this role, we have two positions available for Temporary 12 month Fixed Term Contracts. Temporary contract extensions or progressions to permanent contracts are possible but are never guaranteed.
