My Life Choice are recruiting new complex care support workers to support an individual on a 2:1 basis in their own home. There are days and nights available. This is 12 hour shifts, 2 week rolling rota. (48 hours one week, 36 hours on week two). My Life Choice is a specialist care provider across the UK. We provide support to for people with Autism, learning disabilities and many other complex needs. We are currently seeking highly motivated support workers to join a brand new team supporting a male individual in Clacton. The successful candidate will work in a person centred way and will understand positive behaviour support, supporting an individual with highly complex needs.Do you have experience in working alongside key stakeholders, advocates and other professionals? Do you want to make a difference to the lives of those who have experienced high levels of trauma and do you have a clear idea of how you can develop and improve the lives of those who are transitioning from a hospital setting to a supported living home? Have you got the experience of adjusting the way you work to meet the needs of others, whether this be your communication methods, the way you work with someone with autism or someone who at times can struggle to verbally communicate with you? Are you able to show your passion understanding of the importance to providing those who have been in long term segregation that with the right support sent the right people moving into the community will change their lives. This individual requires a dedicated staff team whose passion and goals are to support him to restore his trust in those around them and to help them to understand that by working in a positive way he can be who they want to be.
