MV Credit is an independently managed pan-European private credit fund manager investing in primarily industries including the technology and healthcare sector. MV Credit is headquartered in London but has offices in Paris and Luxembourg.
Sustainability and ESG are core values at MV Credit and have been inherent in the business since its creation in 2000. MV Credit’s philosophy is to fully embed ESG within its teams and existing processes, both on the investment side and the corporate side. In addition, since ESG is a long-term journey, MV Credit's ambition is to continue to be innovative and design new sustainable allocation strategies.
Role & Responsibilities
Joining the ESG team, you will collaborate closely with the ESG Officer, the ESG Committee and have a broad exposure to all areas of the business. Together with the ESG Officer, you will work on:
* The production and submission of all ESG related reporting (i.e., ESG fund reporting, PRI reporting, TCFD reporting, regulatory SFDR reporting) working with relevant MV Credit service providers
* Project management of annual data collection campaign used to assess the borrower’s ESG performance and to produce the funds’ ESG Report
* The production of annual required analysis to estimate carbon footprint of portfolios (i.e., gathering the required datapoints such as Revenue, Total Debt, Total Equity, Value of the loan, Sub Industry, etc)
* Assisting with completing Investors’ ESG questionnaires
* Monitoring and implementation of new ESG regulations (EU Taxonomy, SFDR and SDR, EET, etc)
* The production of presentations and slides for internal and external communication purposes
* Analysis of currently available data and benchmarking against competitors
* The streamlining of ESG data sources and storage
* Ad-hoc projects (e.g. relating to data analysis, conferences, ESG training)
Proactivity is welcomed and encouraged, and we will offer you the opportunity to carry and deploy your ideas. You could for example suggest the design and implementation of new ESG procedures (around Climate risks, decarbonization journey, sustainable investments, etc)
Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum Bac +5 ideally with a prior experience in sustainability and/or private markets
* Strong interest and convictions in ESG and climate issues, as well as sustainable development
* Good communication and presentation skills with clear and concise articulation of ideas and concepts
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint…)
* Strong verbal and written English and French
* Good data management and analytical skills
* Team spirit and team player
* Self-starter and dynamic personality
