The starting salary for this role is £29,697 per annum, based on a?36-hour working week. We are hiring a new Social Care Assistant to join our fantastic Epsom & Ewell Locality team. The team is currently based in Fairmount House, Leatherhead, returning to the Epsom area shortly. This is a hybrid role working in the office and from home with the expectation that full time staff will be on the office at least 2 days a week and part time staff 1 day a week. We are looking for a range of compassionate and empathetic individuals with a variety of skills and experiences to work with the people we support, enabling them to enjoy a home of their own and an environment in which they are supported to live a healthy and meaningful lifestyle. Your role will be to assist qualified practitioners with a variety of tasks, including assessing people's needs and carrying out regular reviews. You will often be the first point of contact between the public and the service, gathering initial information and identifying the need for further assessment, as well as signposting people to other services.
