CSO (Contract Supervising Officer)
Based on Site at our client Rolls-Royce
Job Objectives
1. To ensure all subcontractor works delivered across site are managed safely and in accordance with the client subcontractor control process.
2. Liaison between subcontractor, JLL and client ensuring excellent communications between all before, during and after works.
3. Appointed person for set disciplines depending on experience and competency (training to be provided where required).
Main Duties
4. Work collaboratively with subcontractors to ensure safe delivery of works across site.
5. Review RAMS and challenge gaps were necessary.
6. Ensure works carried out in accordance with contractor RAMS
7. On the spot audits of contractors during works to ensure compliance with RAMS
8. Complete subcontractor work packs before, during and after works obtaining all necessary paperwork and contractor/client signatures
9. Ensure all contractors follow local site processes including signing in/out rules
10. Archiving of completed subcontractor work packs for audit purposes
11. To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
12. To understand and comply with company policies and procedures
13. To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
14. To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required including Hot Works and Excavtion Appointed Person courses.
15. To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

16. Must have excellent customer communication skills both written and verbal
17. Strong interpersonal skills.
18. Able to communicate across all levels
19. Confident to challenge where necessary
20. Able to work under pressure and multi-task
21. Able to understand and act on both verbal and written instructions/procedures
22. Excellent Computer/IT skills
23. Strong administration skills
24. Must be able to work without constant supervision
