Job Purpose
* Preparation and finalisation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
* Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio.
* Review of VAT returns prepared by the client.
* Leading audits for Limited companies.
* Supervising junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing.
* Build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries.
* Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.
* Work directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.

The Successful Applicant
* ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice.
* Or AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA or with a desire to begin study.
* Study support can be provided where needed for the right candidate.
* Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
* Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts.
* A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously.
* Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable.
* Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
* Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
* Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen.
* A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver.
