We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Healthcare team at Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre located in West Drayton. Heathrow IRC combines Colnbrook and Harmondsworth removals centres under one management structure making it the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residents.
Hours
This is a permanent 37.5 hours per week, shifts to be covered are:
* Monday - Sunday - 7am - 7.30pm - Long days
* Monday - Sunday - 7pm - 7.30am - Nights
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between £47500 - £50640 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focusing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
* Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
* Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.
What we'll look for in you
* Qualified Paramedic
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Proven post-registration ambulance experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
