As the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the CFM site operations team, responsible for planning, managing and implementing the delivery of Facilities Maintenance services to our Data Centers whilst ensuring operational performance is always maintained to the highest possible standards. Working within the Mechanical Engineering Team, you will provide support, expertise and preventative maintenance suggestions of power generators, chilled water and HVAC systems amongst others, to the business to ensure the successful and efficient operation of NTTs Data Center estate. What you will do Oversight of mechanical vendors HVAC delivery. Ensuring that all and any statutory and contractual deliverables are achieved within SLA Responsible for authoring and the oversight of mechanical MOP/SOP/EOP regardless of source Responsible for ensuring that all and any relevant RAMS are provided by HVAC specialist vendors, and these are suitable and sufficient Act as a mechanical competent person (CP) Prepared to attend AP11 and medic first aid training and be an Authorised Person (AP) Technical oversight (support as required) on all mechanical works and projects (In-Life and Fit-Out) Assisting with commissioning and witnessing of existing infrastructure upgrades and enhancements; this will also include new facilities Participate/support in-house training to operational colleagues to increase awareness and competencies in respect of mechanical/HVAC system What we are looking for Industry or manufacturer training in HVAC, (including, but not limited to) cooling systems, evaporative cooling, pumps, pressure systems (Essential) HNC level attainment of a relevant mechanical qualification (Desirable) Demonstrable knowledge of water hygiene treatment regimes in line with L8/HSG274 (Desirable) IOSH Working Safely (Desirable) Experience in mechanical/HVAC systems General understanding of Data Centre mechanical systems and building services Good numerical and literacy skills and high levels of computer literacy Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritis, good analytical/ problem solving skills The ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good relationship building Self-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to develop To possess a full clean driving licence valid for use in the UK To undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019 What we offer you An agile company culture with short decision-making paths and plenty of opportunities to show personal initiative?
