We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Project Administrator to join our Project and Bid team. This role could be based from a number of our UK offices and can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.
This role supports projects in our Transportation & Urbanisation and Energy, Water & Environment divisions by providing timely, efficient and professional project administration support to Project Managers using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and project databases.
What does the role involve?
The Project Administrator will be responsible for:
1. Setting up and updating projects in the ERP system, ensuring the system reflects the latest financial position by liaising with Project Managers.
2. Supporting, coordinating and facilitating the adherence to agreed processes and procedures.
3. Creating and issuing fee proposals.
4. Reviewing and following up of tasks.
5. Processing fee acceptances from proposal to Live project status.
6. Liaising with Project Managers to ensure invoices and applications for payment are issued in a timely manner.
7. Reviewing and actioning project related reports using the ERP systems as requested by Senior Project Support.
8. Reviewing and closing down of projects.
9. Working with Project Support colleagues to ensure clients and technical colleagues receive a prompt, professional and efficient service.
10. Acting as a key participant in the Project Support Community.
To be successful in this role you'll possess:
An understanding of financial project management systems and process would be advantageous, however the main qualities we are looking for are a strong work ethic, a can do attitude and the ability to follow process and multi task. You will need a good level of skill in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
Full training will be provided in terms of the role as long as you have good administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
