Social Care Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Social Care Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the assigned territory by promoting and selling a range of medical, cleaning, and hygiene consumables to social care facilities such as care homes and nursing homes. This role requires a strategic and results-driven professional with the ability to identify new business opportunities, build lasting relationships, and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and surpass sales targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the social care sector.
* Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
1. Account Management:
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
* Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
1. Market Analysis and Strategy:
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the sector.
* Develop a deep understanding of the social care market, including industry regulations and challenges.
1. Collaboration and Reporting:
* Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies and deliverables.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
* Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance and market insights.
1. Product Knowledge and Training:
* Develop in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and its benefits to the social care sector.
* Educate and train clients on product usage, emphasizing quality and value.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience:
* Proven track record of sales success, preferably in the healthcare, medical, or consumables sector.
* Experience working with social care facilities such as care homes or nursing homes is a significant advantage.
* Skills:
* Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-focused approach.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* Technical Proficiency:
* Familiarity with CRM systems for pipeline and account management.
* Basic understanding of market analytics and reporting tools.
* Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
