Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Publishing and Events Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive individual with a strong background in sales, particularly in events. The role is remote-based but will require some (international) travel to industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Sales: Drive exhibition sales and sponsorships for our industry-leading events.
2. Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach.
3. Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and expand our client base.
4. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
5. Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to tailor sales approaches effectively.
6. Self-Management & Accountability: Work independently while taking full ownership of your role, ensuring a proactive and strategic sales approach.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Director and wider team to develop and execute sales strategies.
8. Reporting: Provide regular sales updates, pipeline management, and forecasting reports.
Key Requirements:
1. Strong sales experience (min 3-5 years) with a proven ability to close deals and exceed targets.
2. Having an initial experience in events sales and / or publishing and media is a significant asset.
3. Assertive, confident, and highly motivated with a hunter mentality.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to self-manage and take responsibility for meeting objectives.
6. A strategic thinker who can identify opportunities and drive business growth.
7. Comfortable working remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity and accountability.
8. Attend events, conferences, or client meetings (max 10% of time) to drive business growth and represent Azura International.

Remuneration:
1. Fixed salary (yearly): between £25,000 and £35,000 depending on experience.
2. Commission (yearly): between £5,000 and £15,000 depending on performance.
