Job Advert: PR/Comms Account Director (B2B tech – junior to senior levels)

Let’s tell you a bit more about the role…
You will be the lead on multiple client accounts, working closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to deliver exceptional PR programmes and strategic communications support for your clients. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, drawing on your experience and knowledge of the global trade PR/communications landscape to counsel clients on communications strategy and plan/lead successful PR programmes. You will also support/guide teams (rolling up sleeves and leading by example when necessary) in the practical undertaking of all types of PR activity (research, copywriting, media/analyst relations, social and digital media, client meetings etc.) and provide direction that leads to successful results for your clients. You will proactively contribute to iseepr’s business growth, through the profitable direction of your accounts and engagement in/identification of new business opportunities. You will be fully supported by the iseepr Leadership Team.
Things you will be responsible for (non-exhaustive):
* Becoming a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insight and considered direction.
* Account team leadership – overarching responsibility for the smooth running of teams and optimal output. Leading, supporting, developing, reassuring and troubleshooting as needed to help iseepr build a team culture where everyone thrives and feels valued, while delivering excellence to clients.
* Strategic programme leadership – advising on, planning and leading the PR and comms delivery across your accounts, setting KPIs, and ensuring clarity/team-client alignment in respect of realising goals.
* Content generation – content is at the heart of all good storytelling so creative ideation of angles and strong copy-writing skills are central to this role. Developing and editing junior team members’ work is a large part of it too.
* Identifying opportunities for growth, nurturing new business opportunities, creating detailed scopes of work for clients and ensuring successful delivery against contract.
* Commercial efficiency – reviewing and analysing financial and team utilisation data across your accounts to ensure efficient delivery. Identifying and working with the Leadership Team to address challenges when necessary.
* Maintaining and evolving a deep understanding of clients and associated technology/industries and sharing knowledge across the team to aid mastery in specialist sectors.
* Mentoring/appraising junior team members.
What we’re looking for from you…
* Significant communications experience (at senior manager or director level), preferably in a PR agency.
* Experience of B2B PR and/or tech industries.
* Confident/clear interpersonal and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and resourcefulness.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Advanced copywriting and content generation skills.
* Proven track record in strategic communications.
* Commercial abilities – illustrated through your professional experience.
* Lifelong learner, keen to develop as a specialist.
* People and client management experience.
* Someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into programme delivery as needed, leading by example.

Salary range: £46-60k depending on experience.
