Applications are invited for Clinical Development Fellow who have completed at least FY2 for the above post based in the North West Glasgow Division of Older Adult Psychiatry within West Dunbartonshire HSCP.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in West Dunbartonshire. The successful applicant will play a prominent role in providing care and treatment for severe and enduring mental health conditions in the older adult supported by an enthusiastic CMHT and Consultant Psychiatrists. The role includes outpatient work at the Cairnmhor resource centre in Dumbarton, as well as some inpatient and liaison psychiatry work at the Vale of Leven hospital in Alexandria. Opportunities for further training and development are strongly encouraged.
Ideally applicants would be doctors who have an interest in progressing a career in old age psychiatry or other psychiatric specialties and come with a broad general professional training including General Medicine or GP vocationally trained doctors who wish to gain further Older Adult Psychiatry experience.
Applications will be considered for part-time working or as a job share opportunity. There is no on-call or out of hours work associated with this post which is 9-5 Monday to Friday working out of the CMHT at Cairnmhor Resource Centre.
To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a licence to practice.
