Within this position, you will be responsible for understanding and contributing to the enablement and embedment of business architecture across the group. The Business Process Architect will support the business architecture community in the development, creation and maintenance of the Business Architecture Catalogue (ARIS) and the artefacts contained within the repository.
Responsibilities:
Support the development and enablement of the business process modelling and governance capabilities across the group
Design business architecture artefacts and deliverables to enable the Business Architecture community
Support maintenance of the Global Business Architecture published Body of Knowledge
Support governance of the current and future state architecture to align with the Business Architecture Framework
Identify opportunities to enhance process and operational efficiencies through analysis of Business Architecture and Process modelling data
Able to succinctly explain the benefits of Business Architecture, how architecture is organised, and explain the construct and usage of the ARIS tool to the business
Help create materials and content to support the delivery of training, advice and sharing across the HSBC Business Architecture Practice
Works closely with Lead Business Architects to ensure that services, capabilities and processes adhere to business architecture standards and will support business strategy and deliver desired business outcomes
Apply and utilize business modelling methods when requested by our business stakeholders
Experience Required:
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus Proven business process architecture experience (3-5 years)
Ability to map, model and document end to end business processes
Sound knowledge of business process modelling tools and /or architectural blueprints (e.g. ARIS)
Sound knowledge of agile delivery and methodologies
Working knowledge of modelling techniques, tools, and standards development
Requires significant collaboration and influencing skills.
