Join our team at Operation Northleigh, the criminal investigation into the Grenfell Tower Fire disaster. This is a pivotal moment in one of the largest homicide investigations in the UK, running alongside a Public Inquiry. We are intensifying our efforts and building cases against key entities responsible for the refurbishment of the tower. We are recruiting for roles within our Investigation teams and our Central Disclosure Team.
About the Role
Day-to-day of the role:
* Engage in action-led tasking to progress established criminal investigations or conduct disclosure reviews.
* Work within the guidelines of the MPS Hybrid working policy, supporting agile working.
* Collaborate with team members and report directly to the Detective Sergeant.
* Utilise advanced IT skills to manage and document investigation details.
Responsibilities
* Previous experience in Major/Complex Crime Investigations within the last two years.
* Ability to interpret complex and detailed information.
* Professional curiosity and a proactive approach to investigation.
* Experience in disclosure management.
* IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications
* Desirable: Experience in a Major Incident Room (MIR) or Major Investigation Team (MIT) in a HOLMES environment, and strong report writing skills.
Required Skills
* Flexible working hours with options for full-time or part-time engagements.
* Hybrid working options—1 day per week agile working for Investigation teams, 2 days per week for Central Disclosure Team.

* Overtime availability, though not mandatory
