About the role
Are you passionate about Beauty? Have you got a strong operational background and strive right first time for stores? Then this could be the role for you! This is a dynamic and varied role that translates the cosmetics commercial plan into operational excellence and supports our cosmetic champions.
A fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to how our customers and stores feel about our makeup category by taking the lead on our in-store experience. As a crucial part of the Trading team, supporting stores to improve and helping to shape the category of the future.
Responsibilities
* You’ll be the champion for “what good looks like” on the makeup category – holding stores and the support office to account on making sure we always deliver our best.
* Working with stores, suppliers and support office to resolve issues arising with speed. Stock problems, tester issues, broken kit, incorrect show material – you’ll be the front line ensuring customers see the best Boots has to offer.
* You’ll help with the design and delivery of new ideas, processes and concepts that can change the face of the category and excite customers to keep coming back.
What you’ll need to have
* You’ll have outstanding stakeholder management. Many of the challenges you face will be complex and touch a variety of different functions as well as over 1500 stores, so you’ll need to be confident engaging and influencing different groups.
* You’ll be organised, with an eye for detail. With over 7,000 products in the range from over 30 brands, you’ll need to be practiced at staying on top of complex problems.
* You’ll be a self-starter, ready to drive your own success. As the champion of our makeup customer experience for stores but also the support office, you’ll need to be passionate and ready to set the agenda for yourself and those around you.
* You’ll have experience working in, or with, our stores – allowing you to understand the challenges they face every day.
It would be great if you also have
* Experience with data analysis.
* Retail in store experience.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook programs.
* Cosmetics category experience.
