Click the link for more information - https://www.depaul.org.uk/our-impact/ Role Overview: The Young People at Risk (YPAR) project provides small-scale accommodation in Twickenham for young people at risk of serious youth violence, with a maximum length of stay of twelve months. It is commissioned by London Borough of Lambeth for young males who are 16-17-years old. Joining the team as Night Young People Support Worker, you will develop positive relationships with the young people and support them to develop the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives. You will contribute to ensuring that the physical environment is safe, properly maintained and the service support clients to sustain their tenancy, develop skills and resilience, and participate in positive and successful move on. In addition, you will carry out a range of support, housing management and administration duties while managing a caseload of clients by supporting them to develop skills and resilience to live a positive live. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service at all times, including using safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable. Lead on safety at night and contribute to ongoing needs and risk assessment of clients in the service. Proactively work with colleagues to support the wellbeing of the clients in accordance with data protection and information sharing protocols. Support all clients to participate in Education, Training, Employment and Volunteering opportunities as appropriate to the development of their skills, assets and aspirations.
