We have new exciting General Manager role within the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery as a crucial part of our senior management team.
You will have the unique opportunity to support and gain experience from a wide range of services within the Neurology Directorate. You will require a broad mix of skills and experience enabling you to manage a comprehensive and varied portfolio, and will support the shared vision to aspire to excellence.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will have specific focus on delivery and performance of both clinical and administrative teams you will do this through supporting the department with service management ensuring the delivery of operational planning including demand and capacity, RTT/2WW performance, business planning/business case development and capital projects.
This role requires you to have the knowledge or experience of working on complex projects and dealing with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally. You must have proven people skills and a track record of delivering high quality work in a fast paced environment. You will also have a keen eye for data and budgetary management.

* Management degree or equivalent (or in exceptional circumstances - able to demonstrate significant level of equivalent experience)
* A formal post graduate qualification, ideally in management or equivalent senior level experience
