Major Recruitment are working with one of Northampton's most respected independent optometric practices, assisting them in employing a new Dispensing Optician.
Since its foundation the practice has been involved in clinical research. This has led to the development of techniques and instrumentation to improve sight testing and investigation of the eyes, vision correction and health assessment.
This is a fantastic Dispensing Optician opportunity to work within one of the county's most unique independent practices that believe that a combination of expertise, experience and concern is the hallmark of a caring practice.

* Up to £36,000 (depending on experience) + professional fees & bonus
* 45 min - 1 hour testing times, enabling you to fully focus and offer patients the time they require
* Working with a full range of desirable eye wear made by premium brands - from well-known names like; Tom Ford, Linberg and Persol, they are dedicated to discovery and are continually sourcing the ultimate brands in eyewear
* Guaranteeing patients a truly personalised frame styling and lens consultation service
* The practice closes at 2:30pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays & Bank Holidays
* Offering the latest diagnostic equipment, including OCT, Optomap, Auto-phoropter, Trial frames, contact & non-contact tonometry, Henson VFA, Slit Lamp and a computerised management system Specialist services: Colorimetry (Dyslexia & Visual stress assessment), Dry eye clinics, Paediatric eyecare, Specialist contact lenses and Hear care
* Working within a multi award winning practice with 4 spacious test rooms and a relaxed, high-end and beautifully presented working environment
* Work closely with the senior management team to identify, develop, and implement growth opportunities alongside regular internal and external training arranged
* They obtain a park permit for every clinical member of staff, saving you money and time with you morning and evening commute
* The team are closely involved in the local community, running regular awareness events and presentations
Details and requirements
* Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00am - 17:30pm) Saturday (08:30am - 2:30pm)
* Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays
* Full or part time position considered
* Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered
Salary and benefits
* Basic salary of up to £36,000 (depending on experience)
* Commission/bonus + professional fees
* Parking permit
* Company pension + employee discount
* 24 days holiday + 8 BH (32 in total)
