Job Description:
Cleaner - South West Norse
South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at South Molton Library on a permanent, part-time basis.
The Role
Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.
Maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas. This consumer-facing role will require you to deliver a high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.
Our Successful Candidate
If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment, this would be an advantage; however, at Norse, we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate:
* Ability to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment
* Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients, and members of the public
* Comfortable working independently as well as being part of a team
* Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service
Our Offer
If you have a great eye for detail and enjoy cleaning, this is the perfect opportunity for you. All of our employees benefit from our company pension scheme and annual leave allowance, combined with a number of local benefits and opportunities for progression and development within a national organization.
We are committed to employment practices and behaviors that encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment, and eliminate unlawful and/or unfair discrimination.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy once we have received sufficient applications. If you have not been contacted within two weeks of the closing date, please assume that your application has not been successful and will not be progressed to the next stage.
