Business Analyst
The Opportunity:
As Business Analyst within this hugely successful manufacturing facility in Exeter, you will work with the Senior Business Analyst and take responsibility for understanding the company’s product portfolio, calculating pricing and reviewing margins. You will fully utilize your data analysis or business analysis and analytical skills in a role where you will be relied upon to interpret complex data, ensure accuracy, and extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions. This role requires proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL and the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders via platforms such as Power BI.
The Role:
1. Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
2. Ensure data integrity by performing regular quality checks and validation.
3. Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
4. Manage and optimise processes for data intake, validation, as well as modelling, visualisation, and communicate deliverables.
5. Project management, tracking the development of projects and delivering results on time outlined in project proposals.
6. Assistance with the Group Pricelists and pricing analysis. To apply pricing increases and create New Product Pricelist for internal and external distribution.
7. Management and review of Product Lifecycle in accordance with the Group obsolescence process, and Stock Write off Procedures.
Preferred Skills:
1. Two years minimum in a similar Business Analyst or Data Analyst role.
2. Advanced Excel knowledge (including pivot tables and formulas).
3. Proven experience working with SQL, VBA and data visualisation tools (Power BI etc).
4. Numerate and analytical - experience of working with costing, turnover and margins would be highly beneficial.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
6. Knowledge of CRM and SOP systems desirable.
