They do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today. The Operations team maintain, repair and upgrade 7,666km of high-pressure pipe, 23 compressor stations, 504 above-ground installations, and 8 connected distribution networks through a highly skilled team of over 600 technicians and engineers across Great Britain. Working around the clock to maintain and enhance the infrastructure that powers homes, business and industries, guaranteeing a steady and secure energy supply. About the role Are you a seasoned Project Manager who has experience of working on large scale projects across an Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation discipline? If so, this could be the role for you. My client is on the lookout for an exceptional talent to spearhead our cutting-edge projects at our St Fergus site. As a key player in delivering our projects, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and drive innovation like never before. With a keen eye for detail, you will work to mitigate errors with an aspiration to deliver a flawless end to end project every time. Ensuring a successful project is delivered, you will be involved in the tendering and financial process's, resource planning, training, and upskilling through to handover. What we are looking for To be successful in this role you will be comfortable in managing end-to-end large-scale projects (eight-figure value) in an Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation discipline based on NEC 3 and 4. We don't have a pre-conceived idea of industry background, providing that you meet the NEC, large scale project, and discipline requirements. They have a large programme of work spanning many years and we want to set everyone up for success, so, whatever discipline you've worked is what you will align to (in the immediate instance). If you aspire to operate outside of your discipline experience, this is a great opportunity for just that. Whilst experience in any of the 3 disciplines is required, it would be particularly advantages for those that have Electrical and Instrumentation experience. Whilst they are open on career history, it would again be advantageous for those that came through a technician route in any of the disciplines.
