We can accept part time applicants who can commit to working a minimum of 28 hours per week over four days Job description As a Project Manager in HSE's Science Division, you will oversee delivery of Science and engineering projects to customer requirements, time and cost. You will be part of a team of Project Management specialists and will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, for both commercial clients and HSE whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Key Responsibilities; Motivate and lead the delivery team to identify customer requirements, ensure there is a clear plan to deliver the work, identifying how each project will be delivered to customer requirements, time and cost. Ensure through customer engagement that the project aim, objectives and overall scope of work is defined accurately. Responsible for understanding the needs of all stakeholders and required communications throughout delivery of the work. Manage the project budget and timescales to ensure the project is delivered to customer requirements factoring in time and cost. Responsible for project risk management to ensure the business is protected against financial risk. Recording key project information in line with business needs so that follow up reviews can be conducted and shared with stakeholders after the project has concluded. You must be willing to work towards nationally recognised APM Project Management qualifications, including APM PFQ and APM PMQ which HSE will support. Occasional travel may be required for this role to other HSE offices with some potential overnight stays.
