Level 2 Apprenticeship Rates
Under 18 years - £12,655 per annum
18-20 years - £16,900 per annum
21+ years - £22,359 per annum
We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team who can provide a customer-focused, responsive, and quality administrative service for the team to the wider business. The role is aligned with the L2 Customer Service Apprenticeship and will help you learn and develop your skills by providing excellent support to the business on a range of supplier, purchasing, and compliance activities in line with the Group's Financial Regulations.
We are a small, friendly, and supportive team who lead on the full range of procurement activities and take pride in delivering a quality service to the Group.

What You Will Do
As a Procurement Officer you will be key to:
* Developing knowledge of our processes and systems to act as a point of contact to resolve user queries
* Supporting the Group Head of Procurement and Procurement Manager with their day-to-day activities
* Administering and reviewing requisitions to purchase orders in line with the Group's Financial Regulations
* Setting up new suppliers and ensuring that their details are accurate and authentic to mitigate risks of potential fraudulent activity
* Managing and resolving service requests from users in an efficient and effective way
* Liaising with external suppliers through the mailbox and responding to queries
* Extracting reports and data from systems to inform the team

About You
An ideal person would be someone who has a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and develop skills. You will have an attention to detail and identify opportunities to improve our ways of working and efficiency to improve the service we provide. It is essential that you work well with people and possess well-versed verbal and written communication skills. You will help promote a positive and professional image of the Procurement team to both our internal and external customers.
