We are looking for a creative, confident, and innovative Social Media Manager to take ownership of the brand’s social media channels on a 9 month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover). Supporting the brand strategy, this role will develop and drive global social media strategy through conceptualising and capturing content across our marketing campaigns and brand communications to create engaging visual storytelling, whilst conveying a commercial message as well. We are looking for somebody who has their finger on the pulse and can help us to connect with a younger audience and increase desirability for the Wedgwood & Waterford brands by bringing new bold and exciting ideas to the table. At the same time, we need to be conscious of our existing consumers and ensure that we innovate, but in a sensitive manner. Key activities and responsibilities : Develop, implement and drive global social media strategy that is in line with brand strategy Develop creative and relevant social media first content for the global and local social media channels Create and share social media plans and toolkits that meet local market needs and overall brand strategy Develop and drive influencer strategy and work with local markets to ensure influencers and partnerships are in line with brand and social media strategy Manage global influencer partnerships Social media management of all global platforms to include scheduling posts, monitoring performance and community management, also providing local market support for scheduling posts Align with paid social team on organic boosting plans Work with the Brand & Merchandising & Creative team to brief content needs to support brand campaigns and new product launches, ensuring social-media first content is captured to drive engagement on social and digital channels KPIs and Targets Monitor and measure all social media activity, reporting against campaign KPIs Performance of content created Reach into new target audience Engagement rates Traffic to website Skills, knowledge and experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing Hands on experience in a social media role Experienced in content creation for social media Experience using applications and software in the creation of content, including Adobe Suite An understanding of paid social Luxury fashion or homewares brand experience an advantage English as first language, high standard of writing an advantage You enjoy working in an international environment and communicating with colleagues from different cultures.
