Role & Responsibilities
* Provide technical support in the Mechanical maintenance fields, focusing on areas of personal technical expertise.
* Revise procedures and processes accordingly and champion the 5C process for improvement.
* Meet the site target of zero overdue compliance actions in terms of Quality actions and documentation updates, ensuring no asset releases are compromised as a result of overdue or assigned quality actions.
* Act as first point of technical support to the maintenance team for all aspects of mechanical maintenance tasks and mechanical equipment, providing the required technical support to minimize asset delays or impact to batch manufacturing activities.
* Work closely with the maintenance and planning teams to deliver site availability targets in a technically compliant manner.
* Contribute where required to Root cause analysis investigations and implementation of long-term engineering solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Uphold technical standards to assure the assets remain fully compliant with GMP status and the site maintains its license to manufacture medicines.
* Liaise with contractors to ensure technical compliance of all works. Review risk assessments and perform isolations as required for work by self and others.
* Accept permit to work as multi trade acceptor, willingness to support maintenance team in all activities including trade tasks where required.
* Support qualification group as required for all planned re-qualification tasks to ensure assets are compliant with regulations and available to manufacture medicines to cGMP standards at all times.
* Ensure correct records are produced and maintained in line with Data Integrity requirements.
