Applications for HCPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist are now invited to the post of Deputy Training Lead within the Biochemistry Department (Automation and Special Chemistry) at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
As an integral part of the leadership team, you will implement, deliver, and develop first-class training to ensure competency and maintenance of learning throughout the department.

Main duties of the job
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you have an understanding of specialist healthcare science activities acquired through additional training or knowledge to post-graduate level or equivalent (e.g., Post registration specialist competency portfolio). Evidence of continuing professional development in accordance with HCPC guidelines will be requested at the interview stage, so ensure to bring this along with you. You will support the Training leads with training activities, inductions, and portfolio work. This role is primarily based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but there will be a future requirement to work across all sites that are part of UHB.

* BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or equivalent academic achievement that is ratified by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS).
* State registration with Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC).
