A newly created position has been devised as part of the senior management team for an experienced Head of Finance to join our client based in Wembley. You will be tasked with leading and developing a highly-motivated team ensuring objectives are linked to strategic goals whilst understanding the detail of the process to deliver excellent service levels. They are seeking a dynamic individual that is looking to progress their career with a growing organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance job will include:
1. Developing effective relationships with Operations Directors and key stakeholders in order to implement key business strategies.
2. Delivery of annual budgets, variance analysis, quarterly re-forecasting and board presentations.
3. To align, continuously improve, execute and promote the systems and work processes that support the business in achieving its goals and that comply with internal and external standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Accountable for the production, and distribution, of reliable management information to monitor and assess the performance of the division.
5. Be able to challenge business requests and continually strive to improve processes and functions within the team.
6. If you can work effectively to a consistently high standard in a busy, pressurised but enjoyable environment, you are just the person they need.
The ideal Head of Finance will possess the following attributes/skills:
1. Qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
2. Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
3. Have strong technical accounting knowledge coupled with an inquisitive commercial mindset.
4. Experience of leading and developing a team in a growing fast-paced environment.
5. Strong system skills to include advanced Excel.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Able to deliver projects to a high standard.
