Role Overview:
The Commercial Governance and Corporate Energy team is newly formed, bringing together officers from the Energy Management Unit and Commercial Governance. The team is part of the Financial Management Service and is led by the Assistant Director: Commercial Governance and Corporate Energy. The role primarily involves leading the team to deliver key corporate priorities and supporting the development of strategic plans for commercial and energy-related activities.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
2. Ensuring strong governance and adherence to legal, statutory, and best practice requirements.
3. Providing professional consultation, advice, and guidance to team members and colleagues.
4. Demonstrating a strong understanding of financial and legal matters associated with commercial and energy activities.
