Sr. Technical Business Development Manager, Amazon Key

We are looking for an experienced, highly-driven and resourceful Senior Tech Business Developer Manager to lead our expansion in the UK. You will be responsible for promoting Amazon Key products to building managers, building owners, and housing associations. You will also collect market and customer insights to ensure we continue to improve our product and delight our customers.
Key job responsibilities:
1. You will define the sales strategy, channels, and tactics for the UK;
2. You will conduct product demos, sales pitches, and negotiations with prospects;
3. You will build a lead pipeline and qualify your leads;
4. You will leverage your network and experience to accelerate Amazon Key expansion;
5. You will create pitch and marketing decks for various customer segments;
6. You will build and maintain strong relationships with our potential future strategic customers;
7. You will work hand in hand with Amazon Key leaders, Marketing, Install Operations, and Customer Support;
8. You will relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management and Technical;
9. You will measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas.

You are the ideal candidate if:
1. You have strong business development skills and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and revenue targets;
2. You are excited to join a developing new start-up;
3. You have prior experience in selling to building managers, building owners, and housing associations, especially in the residential space;
4. You are a self-starter, and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often highly ambiguous environment;
5. You have extensive experience developing relationships with external partners as well as with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Product, and Tax;
6. You are able to communicate with senior leaders in a clear, concise, and structured manner - particularly in written form;
7. You can easily shift from thinking to rolling up your sleeves and executing, in order to deliver results.
This role will be based in London and requires moderate travel (maximum 25%).
About the team:
The Amazon Key mission is to empower customers to easily manage access to their homes and businesses. To accomplish our mission, Amazon Key designs, manufactures, sells, and maintains Access Control products using the latest home security technologies. Amazon Key technology enables Amazon Delivery Associates to securely get access to semi-public spaces within buildings, in order to deliver parcels. Amazon Key continues to innovate and delight Amazon Key’s rapidly growing customer base. Amazon Key consistently works on high-profile projects and seeks talented individuals motivated by an opportunity to make an impact, work on challenging technical problems, and learn in the process.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
3. Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
4. Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
5. Experience negotiating software and services agreements
6. Experience in building a lead pipeline and in qualifying leads
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
2. Existing contacts and relationships with Real Estate Property Managers
