As a key member of the team, you’ll provide strategic HR support across the Mattioli Woods Group, ensuring that our people strategy is fully embedded within the business. You’ll work closely with managers, providing expert guidance on all aspects of HR while playing a pivotal role in driving change and supporting the company’s overall strategy.


What we’re looking for:


🎓 Experience and knowledge:


✅CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards Level 7)

✅Understanding of SMCR and FCA regulations in a financial services setting

✅Experience with payroll operations and HR system management (Workday preferred)

✅Strong knowledge of employment law, including tribunal processes, TUPE transfers and acquisitions

✅Ability to influence and support senior leaders with HR best practices

✅High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


What you’ll be doing:


✅Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries

✅Administering HR documentation, including contracts and policy updates

✅Supporting managers with recruitment and interview processes

✅Coaching employees and managers on Workday to maximise efficiency

✅Advising on employment law, policies, and best practices

✅Contributing to key HR projects, including acquisitions and organisational change

✅Providing guidance on organisational design, talent management and workforce planning

✅Analysing metrics and trends to provide data-driven recommendations to the business

✅Developing and enhancing leadership capabilities across our management team through targeted training initiatives

✅Leading change management initiatives and ensuring smooth implementation of HR programmes and acquisitions/TUPE transfers

✅Partnering with leadership team to develop and implement effective people strategies aligned with business objectives
