Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary school students
* Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback to parents and school administration
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programmes
* Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS check
* Knowledge of the Welsh curriculum
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Previous experience teaching primary school students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methods
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
* Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
The primary teacher role is based in a school setting, with regular hours during term time. The role may involve some additional duties such as attending school events and meetings outside of normal hours.
