SP 22 - 25 (£28,728 - £31,390) – Depending on skills, experience, & qualificationsBased at our St. Albans Campus, AL4 0JAAn exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for a Communication and Engagement Marketing Executive to support Oaklands’ communication efforts by promoting its activities, events, and achievements to external audiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Oaklands' activities, events, and achievements to external audiences. Your work will involve crafting engaging content for digital and print media, supporting marketing efforts, assisting in event planning and promotion, and strengthening relationships with schools and community stakeholders. You will collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure effective internal and external communications while also tracking engagement metrics and providing administrative support to help execute communication strategies smoothly.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree or professional accreditation in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, along with at least one year of experience in a marketing or communications role. The ideal candidate will have outstanding writing and communication skills, a creative and proactive mindset, and the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Experience in event coordination, email marketing, CMS systems, and multi-channel content creation would be highly desirable.

Relevant degree or professional accreditation in Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing role, with a proven history of success.
Excellent writing skills, and a demonstrable ability to write for different audiences, for both print and digital channels.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing successful events and engagement activities.Email marketing experience and use of related email management system.Experience of using a CMS system.Experience of multi-tasking and coordinating a variety of activities.
Passion for education marketing.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
