Closing Date 28/10/2024 Job Title: Regional ICA Manager Location: South Coast- You will be based in one of our offices within Southern Water patch- Chatham, Falmer, Durrington, Otterbourne- Hybrid- 3 office/ site and 2 WFH- It is essential for you to have a driving licence due to site visit requirements Hours: 37 Salary: Competitive package plus £400 per month car allowance As an ICA Regional Manager, you will be overseeing across the whole Southern Water regional area, the performance of the Wastewater ICA teams through consistent deployment and rigorous application of the corporate maintenance strategy, ensure that the correct planned preventative maintenance schedules are applied to the asset to enable it to be operated to the design capability to enable the wider delivery of the Wastewater Treatment Environment, Wastewater Networks Environment, Financial, and Customer performance objectives. Interested to find out more, please visit our page for latest developments on our environmental performances In this critical role, you will be responsible for the operation and development of ICA critical spares stores and the performance and maintenance of all telemetry, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA assets. Managing relationships with external service providers, you will be driving contractor and service provider performance in the geography to ensure works are delivered to time, cost and quality. As our industry is highly regulated, you will be ensuring that right controls are in place for value, safety, compliance, and service risks as well as the resilience and performance of wastewater’s operational software repository system. In managing our assets to operate within the designed capability, it is crucial for you to effectively plan and execute of all wastewater ICA maintenance work, ensuring training, tools, equipment, and software for all wastewater technicians/engineers are up to date and being r esponsible for effective delivery of asset upgrade programmes across the estate. As a great problem solver, you will be overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance schedules, understand the level of assets out of service and the relevant risk which this poses to the wider organisation and work to deliver the reactive capital maintenance programme, within own control and be able to appropriately evidence spend and benefit within areas of control. Given the imbalance of reactive and planned work, building an improvement plan, consisting of planned programmes of work (such as PLC remediation) to bring a focus on delivering planned work on time to schedule is highly critical in this role therefore it is paramount for you to have the ability to think creatively in resolving problems in a highly demanding environment. You will be highly experienced with good knowledge of ICA management in utility, maintenance or operations ideally with a Degree, Diploma in Management Studies or equivalent, HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline. A confident leader with a passion to make a difference, you will have a high level of resilience to cope in a pressurised environment focussing on the delivery of the key strategies is key to be successful in this role.
