Salary: £26,835 - £27,829 per annum (this includes 2 weekend working increments)
The Outdoor Learning Practitioner is to work with the Development Manager in designing and planning outdoor learning programmes to promote personal, social, and educational development. They will be responsible for the delivery of outdoor education programmes tailored to meet the needs of diverse participant groups, with a focus on educational and developmental outcomes. Working across our three sites and closely with our partner organisations.
Working across diverse sectors such as education, youth work, and public health, you will engage participants in activities that foster a connection with nature, improve health and wellbeing, and develop practical outdoor skills. You will play a key role in facilitating learning through outdoor experiences while ensuring safety, managing risk, and supporting personal growth in participants.
You will assist the Managers and Senior Instructors in delivering quality sessions across Buzz Active’s three activity centre sites, providing both land and water-based activities. You will gain practical experience in programme delivery, risk management, and team support, with opportunities to specialise in areas aligned with your interests and professional development.

Buzz Active have three fantastic locations in Sussex and deliver a range of sail sport, paddle sport, land based and team building activities and overnight stays.
We are looking for a multi qualified instructor with experience delivering activities to a wide range of client groups which complement the range of activities Buzz Active offers from our three sites. We are seeking someone who is looking to develop their skills in outdoor learning.
This is a fixed term role, from 01 April 2025 - 31 March 2026

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
