With over 13 years experience, Newpark Solutions is a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of parking Pay on Foot systems. Parking has never been easier, and Newpark Solutions is leading the way in innovation in the Pay on Foot market.
The Fusion system operates with barriers and uses HD ANPR cameras as the sole method of access control. The Fusion system's bespoke software utilizes existing ANPR camera technology, and with shrewd algorithms and configurations, creates a system that has a higher level of revenue retention than a ticket-based pay on foot system.
This role covers the M4/M3/A303 corridors and parts of London. Therefore, the ideal candidate would be based in Reading, Basingstoke, or the surrounding South/South West area.
As a field-based service engineer, you will be provided with a company car allowance and tasked with visiting customer car parks throughout the UK, primarily in the South/South West of England, conducting servicing, PPMs, and repair works on the complete range of products and equipment. This is a customer-facing role, so excellent communication skills are essential.
Job Functions:
* Installation and commissioning
* Fault finding and servicing
* Computers, networks, and cloud-based solutions
* Mobile and hard-wired data connectivity
* General mechanical and electrical works
* Participate in the weekend standby rota
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience
* A full clean driving license
* Complete documentation efficiently and on time
* Be prepared to travel at short notice and occasionally long unsociable hours
* Ability to work without supervision
* Flexible, self-motivated, and pro-active approach
