Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)

Your Mission
As a Maths Teacher for Secondary, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mathematics education to secondary school students, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the Head of Department, teachers, and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive academic setting.
What You'll Be Doing
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students, tailoring strategies and resources to meet their specific needs.
* Participate in departmental meetings and discussions to share insights and strategies for improving teaching and learning.
* Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included.
* Employ different instructional techniques and materials to cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
* Keep detailed records of students’ progress and communicate this information to parents and other relevant parties.
What You Bring to the Table
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or overseas qualifications.
* Experience working in a secondary school setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
* Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
* Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions.
* Additional qualifications or training in mathematics education are advantageous but not mandatory.
