About the Role
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products needed to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of centres with a 1,500-strong workforce, fostering a motivating and inclusive workplace that emphasizes learning and development.
Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS is based on an Agency Model, stocking and selling on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth financially and in the number of centres nationwide.
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to meet the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre:
* Achieve personal KPIs and revenue targets with designated customers
* Identify parts accurately to meet customer requirements
* Utilize product promotions effectively to meet targets
* Identify and leverage sales opportunities within the customer base
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
* Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact and face-to-face visits
* Provide excellent customer service by understanding needs, responding promptly, and offering expert advice
* Communicate timely updates on credit status
* Support the TPS Centre team to ensure good relationships and service
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets
* Handle incoming calls and inquiries within KPIs, using approved greetings
* Use all systems accurately for searching and ordering parts
* Complete documentation promptly and accurately
* Manage cash and credit card transactions according to TPS guidelines
What are we looking for?
* A self-starter with a proven record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
* Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders
* A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and team sales targets
* Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
* IT literate, preferably with MS Excel knowledge
