Due to ongoing business growth, we are now looking for a talented and experienced MET Technician to join the dynamic team at our Grantham site. About the Job As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components of various vehicle makes and models. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As an experienced ATA MET, you will be responsible for: Carrying out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work Ordering replacement parts Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs. About You You will have significant experience as an MET from an accident repair background, with high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure. You will: Be able to plan your workload efficiently and effectively so that vehicles are ready to agreed timescales. Complete your work in line with manufacturers specifications. Have the ability to work as part of the team, as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision. Be flexible in your approach, always working to high standards and with customer satisfaction in mind. Follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times, including ensuring a clean and tidy work area and wearing appropriate PPE. Ideally hold an ATA / NVQ qualification, and we will support in renewing this and your ongoing training and development.
