Key Responsibilities Execute planned maintenance to minimise downtime. Respond to machinery breakdowns swiftly and safely. Isolate and re-commission equipment for production use. Provide insights to enhance operations and reduce downtime. Complete risk assessments and manage work permits for safe operations. Log work using internal systems and generate follow-up actions. Ensure proper stock levels of critical spare parts. Support contractors and mentor apprentices in safe practices. Investigate breakdown causes and recommend preventative solutions. Communicate planned downtime with production teams effectively. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent. Electrical role: 18th Edition Electrical Qualification. Experience: 3 years in a maintenance role within manufacturing. Familiarity with systems like Piranha, PLCs, and hydraulics. Skills: Ability to interpret machine manuals and service histories. Knowledge of health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and permits. Proven problem-solving expertise in fault-finding and repair. Additional certifications such as MEWP, IPAF, FLT, PLASMA, confined spaces, or electrical testing/inspection would be highly desirable Why Join Us?
