Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Clerical Officer to provide efficient and effective support in delivering a high quality service to patients. You would be joining our friendly team within the Persistent Pain service, working from Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
The post holder will require to have excellent communication skills, have a positive and flexible approach, be able to adapt to the continuous changes of the service and also enjoy working as part of a busy team.
The role will involve providing administrative support such as the processing of appointments, clinic changes and the correct recording of patient pathways. To deal with telephone calls from members of the public, in a confidential and professional manner.
Main Duties of the Job
* Responsible for the day-to-day administration support of the Service.
* Provide a confidential administrative and reception service to the Service.
* Updating of electronic and paper-based systems, collating of information, mail distribution etc.
* Participate in CPD and develop skills and knowledge through participation in Health Board Education Programme and other developmental activities.
